Eventour’s directors, and network of consultants, have a
highly experienced and successful history in event
development and management, especially in the sports of
Rugby and Cricket. David Skidmore, MD, Eventour Sports, has been involved
in the administration of rugby since 1993, achieving the
positions of Chairman of the Arabian Gulf Rugby Football
Union and Executive Committee member of the Asian Rugby
Football Union.
As AGRFU Chairman, David was involved with the U19s Rugby
World Championship 2006, 5 successive Dubai Sevens
tournaments and project lead many other successful rugby
events in the UAE, such as matches between the Stormers and
the Newport Gwent Dragons, the British & Irish Rugby Legends
v South African Rugby Legends and successfully lead the bid
team to host the 2009 Rugby World Cup Sevens in Dubai. |
